Sanderson Reimagines the Gardens of Highgrove

A Royal Garden Reimagined | Botanical Elegance Rooted in History and Artistry

Apples, pears, and topiary for days – Highgrove Gardens, one of the royal residences of King Charles III, is hardly short of fertile ground for inspiration. In this latest Sanderson collaboration, the garden’s delphiniums, hostas, and acer trees are just some of the intriguing inspirations behind the collection, Highgrove by Sanderson.

Each of the gardens at Highgrove, known affectionately as ‘rooms’ by His Majesty, have their own havens, individuated personalities, and ecology. These rooms have been elegantly translated, refined, and layered into thoughtful new designs by Sanderson, combined with a historical dive into its own 165-year-old archive, bringing to life original hand painted designs alongside a reimagining of original archive documents.

All designs are created in the Sanderson studio, and all printed fabrics and wallpapers are made in our historic UK factories.

A DESIGNER'S DREAM

“It has been such an honour to work with The King’s Foundation team as designers, to explore the gardens, to learn about the incredible ecosystem, the devotion behind each unique landscape and its meaning. Every garden at Highgrove has a story to tell."

Rebecca Craig, Lead Designer at Sanderson.

An Organic Design Story of These Globally Inspired Gardens

From the inspiring colour palettes of the cottage garden to the Japanese maple avenues, Italian fountains, and an array of gifted treasures from all corners of the world, this collection is an organic blend of culturally inspired designs, including damasks, toiles, tapestries, garden plans, and archive florals.

Exquisitely layered, Highgrove by Sanderson is a captivating decorative story of these distinct gardens, told through heritage designs with a lightness of touch, a flavour of global travel and a respect for history and nature in harmony.
